Have You Been Affected by the Recent Water Contamination in Wayne County?
Recently, Appalachian Power Company’s East Lynn substation was vandalized causing thousands of gallons of transformer oil to flow into Twelvepole Creek, in Wayne County, West Virginia. The leak contaminated the Town of Wayne’s water supply, leaving many residents without water.
Our office filed a lawsuit on February 5, 2026, on behalf of residents of the Town of Wayne and surrounding areas for the harms and suffering caused by this water contamination and disruption of water service.
